Carol Rose Moulton

Carol Rose Moulton Saginaw, Michigan Our Mom, daughter, sister and friend, Carol (Poellet) Moulton, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the age of 55 years after a hard-fought battle with cancer. She boldly witnessed her faith to others during her long journey, and she inspired many others with her unrelenting testimony right to the end. Her children were her greatest treasure, and her friends and extended family were also near and dear to her heart. Carol was born on October 20, 1961, to Hilbert and Elberta (Weiss) Poellet. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth and graduated from Frankenmuth High School. She attended Delta College and was a Registered Nurse, working for Covenant HealthCare most of her working life. She was passionate about helping others. Family activities were first and foremost in Carols leisure time. She was active in bible studies and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Saginaw. She loved to decorate her home and had the honor of having her kitchen featured in Taste of Home magazine. Left to cherish Carols memory are her loving children, Zachary (fianc Shelby Miller), Emma and Lydia Moulton; her mother, Elberta Poellet; her brother and sisters, Allen (Donna) Poellet, Jean (Al) Rodammer, and Julie (Ken) Corrion, and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her childrens father, Ron Moulton, and also their grandparents, Russell and Joyce Moulton. She was predeceased by her father, Hilbert Poellet. Carol kept us all up to date during her illness with her Facebook posts to "Carols Prayer" group, and her last post included these words: "Im in a win-win situation. Either Im healed and spend more time on earth or I go to heaven sooner and enjoy paradise. Never lose sight of whats important in life. Material things are temporary, relationships are important, and our dear Lord Jesus is the answer. Make Him a priority in your lives today and every day". A celebration of Carols life will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams St., Saginaw. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday. In lieu of flowers, Carol requested memorials to Peace Lutheran Church for the benefit of its Contemporary Music Team, or to the Sandra Kahn Cartwright Hospice Residence Fund. www.casefuneralhome.com
