Carole Sue Town (Paulus) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family, October 15, 2015, at St. Mary's Hospital. Age 69 years. Carole Sue Paulus was born, October 12, 1946, in Saginaw the daughter of the late Daniel and Hazel (Mayette) Paulus. She graduated from St. Andrew High School and Delta College with an associate degree in general studies. Carole retired from Meijer's and then returned to work, retiring from The Food Depot. Carole married her best friend and soul mate, John Town, September 13, 1993 in Louisville, KY. He survives her. She was an avid reader and had a green thumb. She and John loved short get-a-ways throughout Michigan and longer trips to the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, TN and Louisville, KY. They enjoyed antiquing and car shows. Surviving besides her husband, John, are five daughters and their spouses, Shelli Beardsley; Trina (Bill) Hull; Danielle (Kirk) Taylor; Angela (Chris) Carlton; Rebecca (Kary Cooper) Town; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Kathy Paulus; Kathy Town Nichols. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Joseph Paulus. A celebration of life will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 18, 2015, at In His Presence Ministries, 4521 Monitor Rd.
