Carolee Edwards

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with the Lord surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the age of 80 years. The daughter of the late Obie and Mollie (Simpson) Denny was born on August 19, 1937. She married Ivan L. Edwards on April 11, 1958; together theyve celebrated nearly 60 years of marriage. Carolee was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. She dedicated her life to her family and serving the Lord. Surviving besides her husband, Ivan, are her daughter, LeAnn (Barry) Wascher, grandchildren: Danielle (Walter) Burnett, Barry Ryan (Jennifer) Wascher, Jenna (Ryan) Poulos, Kristia Wascher, Caleb Wascher and seven great-grandchildren. Carolee was preceded in death by her daughter Kristi Edwards-Hatfield. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon Friday, February 2, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 2400 King Rd., Bridgeport, Michigan. Rev. R. B. Ouellette will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
