Caroline Rose Bober of Saginaw, Michigan
Cherished mother and grandmother passed away Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Francis Home of Saginaw. She was 97 years old. Caroline Rose Pasionek was born on June 3, 1926, in St. Charles, Michigan. She was one of eleven children born to the late Joseph and Agnes (Ziemba) Pasionek. She married Harry J. Bober on October 21, 1950; he preceded her in death on January 10, 2007. Caroline was the mother of four beloved children. She was an avid Bingo player and very much enjoyed the Pinochle card game. Caroline enjoyed living at the South Colony Apartments in Saginaw for 18 years and made numerous friends over the years. She was a lifelong and devoted member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
Caroline is survived by her daughter, two sons, and six grandchildren: Christine (Stephen) O'Dell of Midland; Gregory Bober of Auburn; Stewart Bober of Flushing; Sarah O'Dell, Nathan (Bridget) O'Dell, Lauren Bober, Christapher Bober, Samual Bober, and Joseph Bober; daughter-in-law, Susan Bober of Saginaw; one sister, Josephine Halcin of Detour; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bober, four sisters, Mary Goldynia, Agnes Pasionek, Margaret Unger, Patricia Pasionek; five brothers, Henry, Joseph, Max, Ladislaus, and Anthony Pasionek.
The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Francis Home and Compassus Hospice for all their help and compassionate care.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn Street, Saginaw, Michigan, 48602. Rev. Fr. Richard John will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. The family wil1 receive friends for visitation at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, MI, 48603 on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
