Carolyn Sue (Morford) Watchorn of Birch Run
Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great-Great Grandmother passed away Saturday, November 19th, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 83. She was born in Dugger, Indiana, to the late John & Francis (Nielson) Morford, and was a graduate of Saginaw High School. Carolyn married Fred Watchorn on May 31st, 1969, and spent over 40 years with him until his death on November 1st, 2013. She loved spending as much time as possible with her family, especially cooking for them or taking them camping all over the State. She is remembered as being an easy-going and kind sweetheart who would help others before herself, and as someone who always had an extra portion of chili ready in case someone showed up for dinner.
Carolyn is survived by children Pam Gonzales, Denise Smith, Paula (Dennis) Summers, Joe Dobis, Fred Watchorn, and Diana (Will) Gates; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; siblings Pat (Keith) Ferchau, Linda (Dick) Lambrecht, and John (Lori) Morford; and brother-in-law Robert Watchorn; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by sister Annis (George) Packard.
