Janetsky, Catherine M. "Kitty" Saginaw, Michigan Loved by many, our beloved Sister, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend passed away Monday, June 19th, 2017 at the age 89 years. Catherine was born January 9th, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan. She is the daughter of the late Peter and Louise (Canda) Giorgis. Kitty was married for 67 years to the late Albert M. Janetsky, Sr. who referred to her as his "Dolly," and who often reminded everyone that he was, "the luckiest man in the world." Kitty was preceded in death by her son William (Bill) P. Janetsky, her two brothers, Julius (Mike) Giorgis, James (Jim) Giorgis, and sister Frances Giorgis. Kitty was a dedicated member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and was an office manager at Mikes Wrecker Service until the age of 80. Kittys life was focused on her family. She excelled at shaping young hearts and souls, ten of which are her great-grandchildren. Kitty was known for her home-made lasagna, apple pies, and malted milk shakes. Catherine is survived by her son Albert (Carol) Janetsky Jr. of Freeland. Grandsons Albert (Melodie) Janetsky III of Saginaw, and William (Erin) Janetsky II of Grand Blanc. Granddaughter Andrea (Ben) Nault of Canton. Sisters Mary Ellen Sieggreen of Saginaw, Patricia (Gerald) Beyer of Reese. Sister in-law Judy Giorgis of Kawkawlin. Brother in-law Tim (Roz) Janetsky of Saginaw, and Chester Geno of Saginaw. Catherine is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2017, at St. Dominic Parish, SS Peter and Paul Church, 4735 W. Michigan Avenue. The Rev. Andrew LaFramboise will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Catherines family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday where a parish vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Thursday. Family and friends may then gather at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
