Cecile Edith McKenzie

Passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 10, 2019. Age 82 years. Cecile was born on July 1, 1936, daughter of the late Nellie (Gray) and Cecil Smith, in Saginaw. She married Frederick Robert McKenzie on October 10, 1953. He predeceased her on December 4, 2009. Cecile enjoyed gardening, playing cards, board games, boating with family and friends and spending time with them. She will be missed and remembered for her loving, caring and happy spirit. Cecile is survived by her children, Lynn (Joseph) Bommarito, Joseph McKenzie and Gregory (Lori) McKenzie; grandchildren, Stephanie (Scott) Bommarito-Pantaleo, Michael (Lindsey) Bommarito and Carly McKenzie; great grandson, Maximus Pantaleo; sister, Donna Fulkerson; brother, Glen (Myrna) Smith; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Robert McKenzie and her brother, Charles Smith. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Wellspring Lutheran Services, Assisted Living. Honoring Ceciles wishes cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
