Charla Marie Henderson

Charla M. Henderson of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. She was 70 years old. Charla Marie Jackson was born on August 3, 1949, in Saginaw, Michigan, the first of seven children to Clair R. and Mary A. (Guiette) Jackson. She was a proud 1967 graduate of Saginaw High School. Charla married the love of her life, Ronald J. Henderson on June 19, 1989, in Saginaw; he survives her. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. Charla was full of life and always on the go; taking the bus to various destinations throughout the community. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino in Mt. Pleasant, and was quite a wonderful cook. Above all she loved and cherished her husband, two daughters, and three grandchildren. Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Ronald J. Henderson of Saginaw; two daughters: Tammy Jackson of Saginaw; Nina Jackson of Saginaw; three grandchildren: Holly Parcham, Jessica Parsham, and James Parcham; mother, Mary A. Jackson of Saginaw; five sisters: Wendy Lintz of Saginaw; Cindy (Curt) Foster of Carrollton; Barbara Jackson (David Parcham) of Saginaw; Amy Jackson of Bay City; Kimberly Jackson of Bay City. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Wayne Parcham; father, Clair R. Jackson; brother, David Jackson; son-in-law, Jimmy Parcham. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 2400 King Road. Pastor Scott Cowling will officiate. Honoring Charlas wishes cremation will follow the service. Friends are welcome to visit the family at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to First Baptist Church of Bridgeport.
