Thiel, Charles Fredrick Hemlock, MI Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend passed away suddenly at home on March 13, 2013, at the age of 59. Charles was born May 8, 1953, in Saginaw. He married Cindy DeFore on January 28, 1978, she survives him. He was employed at Detail Pattern in Hemlock. He owned First Turn Convenience Store where he enjoyed his special friends at his "coffee klutch". He loved NASCAR, fishing, birds, gambling, and playing lotto. He was a generous man willing to help anyone that needed him, at various jobs, at any time. He will be deeply missed by his wife Cindy; daughters and their spouses, Tammi (Scott) Thiel, Andrea (Pat) Szepanski, Amy (Herb) Morey, Angela (Wayne) Page, Irene (Dennis) Little, Amber (Dustin) Spiker, Kathleen (Troy) Szepanski, Kelly Donnley; grandchildren, Courtney (Ryan), Jessica Ewald, Charlee Mae and Wayne Page Jr., Tyler and Jarred Little, Jaden Szepanski, Riley and Nevin Morey, Brody Leonard, Olivia and Avery Spiker, Bailey, Alex, and Danielle; father and step-mother, Donald and Peggy Thiel; siblings, Bob Thiel, Leonard Thayer, Sue Thiel, Donna Dixon, Sue (Dan) Fowler, Linda (Bill) Stein; nieces, Lisa (Jim) Wale, Jenni Dixon, Teresa (Todd) Wenzel; nephews, Joel Dixon and Jeff Thiel; great-nephews, Tyler Wale and Zach and Austin Wenzel; great-nieces, Serenity and Kayla Wenzel; and many special extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia (Lechmann) Thiel; grandparents, Edna and Herbert Thiel, and George and Leona Lechmann; brother-in-law, Paul Wayne Dixon; and granddaughter, Chelsea Allen. The family would like to thank Kenny Ling, MMR, and Covenant-Cooper for all the wonderful care they provided to Charles. Funeral services will take place at 12:00 noon Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
