He looked forward to spending time at large family gatherings such as tailgates, weddings, Christmas meals, concerts, recitals, graduations and July 4th parties. In honoring Chuck's wishes his body was donated to the University of Michigan Medical School and his cremated remains will be used in a private family remembrance. A separate memorial service is also being planned in Saginaw at a later date. Donations may be made to HealthSource of Saginaw or take a moment to "pay it forward" in some way to help others in need.
