Charles John Burr of Saginaw, Michigan

Charles was born in Saginaw to John “Jake” Burr and Florence “Betty” (Ellis) Burr on February 20, 1958. He passed away peacefully in his home on September 4, 2021, at the age of 63. Charlie graduated from Saginaw Business Institute and was a long serving and dedicated employee of Dow Corning. He loved traveling within the beautiful state of Michigan, especially to Sault Ste. Marie to visit the locks; listening to music and playing his drum set; his home; his cats; and engaging in lively banter about politics with his family and friends.

Surviving are his beloved mother; a brother, Michael (Kathy) Burr; two nieces, Meghan and Katelyn, whom he adored; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father preceded him in death.

A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Brant Piper will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
