Charles M. Quackenbush

Charles M. Quackenbush Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital. Age 73 years. The son of the late Charles Gordon and Beatrice (Wasalaski) Quackenbush was born December 8, 1940 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Janet J. Pretzer, June 20, 1964. She survives him. He was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1990, with 33 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid archer. Surviving besides his wife , Janet, are three sons and their wives, Rick Quackenbush and his wife, Cathy, Sparta, MI; Scott Quackenbush and his wife, Melanie Hamilton, Redford, MI; Mark Quackenbush and his wife, Tracie, Saginaw, MI; seven grandchildren, Emily and Colin Quackenbush; Samantha and Torri Hamilton; Courtney, Chelsea and Casey Quackenbush; three great grandchildren, Austin Hamilton, Gage Saunders and Gavyn Saunders; two brothers, Robert Quackenbush and his wife, Georgia Quackenbush; Gordon Quackenbush; several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his dog, Taylor. A sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Albert Rabideau have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the W.
