Larson, Charles R. Grand Rapids formerly of Saginaw Township Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Grand Rapids Home for the Veterans at the age of 80 years. The son of the late Togo and Emma (Fleischmann) Larson was born March 3, 1933 in Saginaw. He served in U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Evelyn Lear on October 1, 1955; she survives him. Charles retired from Delphi after over 30 years of service. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Saginaw. He enjoyed camping trips, hunting, and spending time outdoors, and painting anything and following NASCAR racing. Surviving besides his wife, Evelyn are their children; Larry R. Larson, Sally Summers, grandchildren; Susan J. Hannan, Jason D. (Tori) Summers, Stacey (AJ) Ebenhoeh, Randy Larson, Bobby Larson, Adam Larson, many great-grandchildren, 1 niece and 2 nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Lorraine (Robert) Wisneiwski. Funeral service will take place on 12:00 Noon Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Military burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of American Legion Post 439. Friends may visit 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
