Our beloved father, "Uncle Bill", grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday morning November 4, 2021, at the age of 100 years, having lived most of his life in Bridgeport. He was the son of Carl and Fay Armstrong and was born on May 30, 1921, in Union City, Indiana. Charles proudly enlisted in the United States Army in 1942, came home on leave and married Harriett Lange, his wife for 73 years, on July 3, 1942.
