Charlotte to most, Nana to many. A career seamstress, Charlotte spent many years behind a sewing machine in her home, at Betty’s Yarns and Fabrics in Merrill, and The Alma Sewing Center. A splendid baker, anyone who’d ever had a Nana Roll knew love in the form of a baked good. Charlotte enjoyed volunteering in her community and spent time in the gift shop at MidMichigan Medical Center in Alma as well as in her church, Mount St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Louis where she also was a member of the church choir.
