Charlotte Marie Rozell

Rozell, Charlotte Marie Saginaw, MI Passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Saginaw Senior Care, age 84. Charlotte Coppinger was born in Bay City, MI December 19, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank and Carrie (Brooks) Coppinger. She married Gale Rozell August 3, 1950. He predeceased her April 12, 1988. Also preceding her in death was her very special niece, Terry Francis, who was Auntie's caretaker and best friend. The unbreakable bond between the two has now been reunited. Charlotte was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport and enjoyed reading her bible. She was an excellent seamstress and would make clothing for used dolls that she rescued. These dolls would then go to needy children in the neighborhood. She also made sure that the neighbor kids had the school supplies they needed before school started. She spent time tutoring the children in the area. She loved spending her summers at her cabin with her family there. She was a devoted Pepsi drinker and enjoyed playing board games and cards. Charlotte is survived by her great-nieces and great-nephews, Rhonda (Donivan) Wells, Robert (Tina) Morrison, Sandi Morrison, Todd (Stephanie) Bedell and Shawn Burzynski. She was predeceased by 10 siblings, Ella Gaertner, Floyd Coppinger, Delbert Coppinger, Clayton Coppinger, Raymond Coppinger, Elsie Reid, Edward Coppinger, Frank Coppinger, Clark Coppinger and Margaret Bedell. The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Scott Cowling will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service.
