Walker, Chere Denise Sears, MI Passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at her home, age 44 years. Chere was born in Saginaw, Michigan February 8, 1970 the daughter of Marion K. (Wargo) and the late Robert James Walker. Chere loved angels, anything pertaining to the ocean and religious history. She was very interested in Native American history and lore. Everyone who knew Chere agreed she was a "happy" person with a "big heart" who would try and help anybody in need. Chere is survived by two children, Ceara Walker and Trevor Palmateer; her mother and step-father, Marion and Charles Standley; three siblings, Renae Silva, Robert Walker, II and Matthew Walker; her "second sister", Lisa Kehoe; a niece, Crystal Cook, two nephews, Chayton and Harlen Walker and many dear and close friends. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Merrill Wesleyan Church, 3765 Chapin Road. Rev. Brad Harris will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel in Merrill Sunday from 2:00 4:00 and 6:00 8:00 p.m. and at church Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
