Passed away on December 12, 2021, at Covenant Healthcare. Age 68 years.
The daughter of the late Naomi Earick and Burt Conklin was born May 22, 1953, at her home in Merrill, Michigan. Cheri was a graduate of Ross Medical Education Center for Medical Assisting. She loved spending time with her kids and her grandkids even more. Cheri loved to camp every summer. She loved flowers and shopping at Bronner's every Christmas. She was a Christ believer who was filled with Grace and Mercy for others. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Surviving are six children: Juan (Lenette) Hernandez, Lisa (Rich) Kehoe, Arturo Hernandez, Santos Hernandez, Roberto Hernandez, and Falicia (Nick) Starks; 20 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, former spouse and friend, Juan Hernandez Sr., special friends Deb Thayer and Rod Baur, as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, brothers; Henry Conklin, Bruce Conklin and Arnold Conklin: grandsons; P.J. Lapinski and Ezekiel Hernandez: and two angel grandbabies.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, December 17, 2021, at W. L. Case & Company, 125 East Saginaw Street, Merrill, Michigan. Nick Starks will officiate. Honoring Cheri's wishes cremation will take place following the service. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the funeral home, as well as from 10:00 am until the time of service.
