Cheri A. Vanherweg

Beloved sister and aunt passed away on February 17, 2025. Age 77 years. Cheri was born on December 31, 1947 in Saginaw to the late George and Shirley (Girard) Vanherweg. She graduated from SS Peter and Paul High School, class of 1966. In her youth she worked at Eaton Manufacturing and enjoyed traveling.

Cheri is survived by her sister, Nancy Vanherweg, niece Alissa (Ryan) Beauregard, and two grandnieces: Chloe and Lillie Beauregard.

Along with her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Jean Vanherweg

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at St. Dominic Parish, St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1310 Malzahn St. Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Fr. Richard John will officiate. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from 10:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of symapthy may wish to consider St. Stephen Catholic Church or the Saginaw Eastside Soup Kitchen.
