Chester J. Felton Jr.

Felton, Chester J. Jr. Saginaw, MI Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014, at the age of 77 years. Chester was born February 17, 1937, in James Township, MI to the late Frances (Hamling) and Chester Felton Sr. He married Donna Marie Malone on May 6, 1961; she survives him. He owned Felton Appliance and worked as an electrician for Saginaw Manufacturing/Delco-Moraine. He enjoyed spending time with his cat Boots. He loved keeping his home beautiful by doing yard work and trimming his apple trees. He liked taking care of the apple trees so much he earned the nickname "Apples" at the shop. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Joseph Felton, Mark (Pam Fitch) Felton, Mike (Kelly) Felton, Dr. Molly (Dr. Greg) Fitzke; grandchildren, Julia Felton, Khloe Felton, Keeley Thayer, Kennedy Thayer, and Delaney Fitzke; sisters-in-law, Mary Felton, Evelyn Stevens, and Mary Lou Felton; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents-in-law, Ira and Thelma Malone; and siblings, Arthur Felton, Donald Felton, Robert Felton, Betty Jane (George) Dole, and Virginia (Jack) Guinther. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Taymouth Presbyterian Church 12517 Morseville Rd, Birch Run, MI 48415. Friends may visit with the family at church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Taymouth Presbyterian Church. www.casefuneralhome.com
