Gaiser, Chong Suk Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home at the age of 63 years. The daughter of the late Soon Gum (Chong) and Pan Yung Ko was born on December 2, 1950 in Pusan, Korea. She married Timothy Gaiser on October 29, 1968; he survives her. She moved to Saginaw on March 7, 1969. She worked as a cook in various restaurants and owned a party store. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. Chong enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren. Surviving besides her husband Tim, are their children: Christine Scherz, Thomas J. (Lisa) Gaiser, Robert (Erica) Gaiser, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a sister, Myeong Suk (Mandeok) Lee and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law: Alvin and Ardath Gaiser. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. David Naumann will officiate with burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the funeral chapel from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
