Chris L. Bolger Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully Monday, March 2, 2015, at his home, surrounded by his family. Age 75 years. Chris was born June 19, 1939 in Saginaw, MI, the son of the late Chris L. and Erma (Bershing) and his step-father, Willis Webster. He married Diane M. Culbert, June 25, 1960. His wife of 54 years survives him. He was employed by General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear, retiring in 1998 with 39 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699 and Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He served with the James Township Fire Department. Chris enjoyed gardening, fishing, and woodworking and loved his dog, Tinker. Surviving besides his wife, Diane, are six children and their spouses, Linda Maher and her partner, Steve Potts; Barbara and John Robishaw; Tracy and Richard Brian; David and Laurie Bolger; Marianne Bolger; Mark Bolger; his grandchildren, Justin Maher; Brittany Cash and her husband, Cody; Tyler Coughlon; John Robishaw; Adam Robishaw; Trisha Brian; Ryan Brian; Abigail Bolger; Megan Bolger; Levi Bolger; Molly Yeska; S/Sgt. Matthew Abbott, serving with the U.S. Army and his wife, Robin; Mark Bolger; a great grandson, Matthew Abbott, Jr; two sisters, Verna Webster; Janet Bayn and her husband, William; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers, Georgia (Phoebe) Bolger; Suzanne Grochowski; Phyllis Smith; James Webster; Ford Webster and Phillip Webster. The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Peter Gaspeny will officiate with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Saginaw from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday where a vigil service will take place at 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
