Masters, Chris K. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 in Hudson, Florida, after a prolonged illness, age 67 years. Chris was born in Saginaw, Michigan December 25, 1947 the son of the late Robert and Gwendolyn (Russow) Masters. He married Ruth Linderman October 18, 1986 and she survives him. Chris retired from General Motors, Saginaw Metal Casting after 37 years of service. He was an avid bowler and golfer and was dedicated to watching and cheering for the Detroit Lions. Chris was a member of the UAW, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #497 and the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge #420. Chris is known by his family and friends for having a good sense of humor. He brought laughter to his weekly poker games by telling jokes and funny stories. Chris had a distinctive laugh that made others take notice. Truly, his memory will dwell in our hearts forever. In addition to his wife, Chris is survived by four children, Christopher Masters, Saginaw, MI, Laura (Thomas) Bevan, San Francisco, CA, Brian (Cindy) Brigham, Midland, MI and Tina Brigham, Oakridge, OR; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; three siblings, Louise (Rich) Wilinski, Bay City, MI, Edward (Sue) Masters, Saginaw, MI and Gail Hock (Bob Spradlin), Shields, MI; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of dear friends. Chris was predeceased by two daughters, Lisa Masters and Aimee McNeil. The funeral service will take place 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with entombment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Sunday from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 12:00 noon until time of the service.
