Redding, Clara Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away Saturday November 29, 2014 at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab at the age of 100 years. Mrs. Redding was born September 12, 1914 in Esk, Saskatchewan, Canada to the late Charles and Mary (Matchuret) Maday. She married her beloved husband William H. Redding August 27, 1959. He predeceased her April 27, 2002. Clara was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and its Dorcas Society. She was employed by Saginaw County for 43 years finally retiring as Saginaw County Clerk in 1979. Surviving are two Nephews Gary Maday and his wife Linda of Essexville and Gregory Maday of Auburn and great-nephews Andrew and Ethan Maday of Essexville, Clara was predeceased by three brothers and their spouses Frederick and Lillian Maday, Walter and Vera, Arthur and Virginia Maday and one nephew Dennis Maday. Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday December 4, 2014 at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Phillip DeVries will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
