Clarence Henry Baase Jr.

Clarence Henry Baase Jr., a beloved soul with an irreplaceable warmth, left this world on February 2, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on March 10, 1944, in Saginaw, Michigan, he was the cherished son of the late Clarence Henry Baase Sr. and Gladys Mabel (Cross) Baase.

Clarence was known for his deeply kind nature and his heart, which radiated goodness and compassion. Those who had the privilege of knowing him often spoke of his gentle spirit and how he never asked for much, finding joy and contentment in the simple pleasures of life. His ability to bring a smile to the faces of those around him was truly special, and he lived his life as a shining example of humility and kindness.

He found delight in riding his bicycle, a pastime that brought him both peace and happiness, allowing him to connect with nature and enjoy the world around him. In addition to cycling, Clarence held a treasured hobby of collecting Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars, their colorful charm reflecting the vibrant joy he emanated.

Clarence is survived by five nieces and five nephews; and one sister-in-law, Barbara Baase. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Gladys Baase; one sister, Judy Welzen and three brothers, Barry Baase, Robert Baase, and Charles Keeler.
