Tennyson, Clarence Edward, Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at St. Francis Home, age 88 years. Clarence was born in Traverse City, Michigan July 13, 1926 the son of the late Clarence Edward and Myrtle Jane (Dory) Tennyson. He married Loretta Dorothy Sicard in 1948. She predeceased him in 2001. Clarence then married Elaine Knoedler in 2004 and she survives him. Clarence was a member of Community Baptist Church. He loved his Lord. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from General Motors. His hobbies included woodworking, riding his bike, jogging and playing golf. In addition to his wife, Clarence is survived by seven children, Clarence Edward (Susan) Tennyson, III, Gloria (Robert) Wolgast, William (Kathy) Tennyson, Brenda (Maurice) Peters, Norman (Darcy) Tennyson, Ruth (Patrick) Arnold and Mary (Chad) Stumbo; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Community Baptist Church, 8331 Gratiot. Rev. Douglas Jackson will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens with military services under the auspices of VFW Post No. 1859, Carrollton. Friends may call at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Thursday from 4:00 8:00 p.m. and Friday at church from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
