Clarence Bertrum Giacoletti

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on October 29, 2023, at Covenant Medical Center Cooper at the age of 80 years. Clarence was born on August 15, 1943, in Saginaw, to the late Joseph and Margaret (Poma) Giacoletti. He graduated from SS Peter and Paul High School. Clarence married Zita Zalensas on December 20, 1974: she survives him. He worked for General Motors, retiring after 36 years of service. Clarence was an avid sports fan. He especially loved Notre Dame football and the Detroit Tigers. He also enjoyed keeping up with his grandsons' sports and coached little league. In his free time Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing. He played drums in a band called The Group, playing for weddings and various venues, as well as in the orchestra at church.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Zita Giacoletti, seven children: Lori (Pete) LeMieux of Fowlerville, Lisa (Dan) Wisneski of Bay City, Kevin (Mindy) Giacoletti of Grand Rapids, Heidi (Christopher) Markhart of Saginaw, Joe Giacoletti of Saginaw, Dean (Pari) Giacoletti of St. Charles, and John Giacoletti of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Joseph Giacoletti, sister Ruth (Harold) Braley, and brother Jim (Nancy) Giacoletti.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N Miller Rd, Saginaw, MI 48609. Pastor Pat Lagan from Reach Community Church will officiate. Honoring Clarence's wishes, cremation will take place following the service. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Saturday from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
