Clarence "Cary" D. Jackson
Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, and Papa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the age of 75, with his family by his side.
Cary was born February 1, 1946 in Saginaw to the late Evelyn (Poineau) and John Jackson. He graduated from Arthur Hill Tech in 1964. He married Carol A. Wenzel on January 14, 1967. She survives him. Cary proudly served in the United States Navy until he was Honorably Discharged. He worked for General Motors Grey Iron and Flint Truck and Bus, retiring in 2000 after 35 years. He was a member of Christ Ev. Lutheran Church. Cary enjoyed smoking a good cigar, spoiling his grandchildren, spending time in the garage with his many projects, and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and many fur babies and grand-fur babies.
Besides his wife Carol, he leaves behind three daughters, Shelly Jackson (John Staszak), Tammy (Ray) Albers, and Melissa "Missy" (Chris) McNalley and three grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Branch, Cameron and Mason McNalley.
Surviving him are two brothers and a sister, Harold (Alyssa) Baker, Joe (Beth) Baker, and Sandy (Frank) Villareal. He also leaves behind a brother-in-law, James Wenzel, and sisters-in-law, Mary Wenzel, Debbie Jackson, and Marsha Warrington, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers John Jackson, Stephen Warrington, Jack Baker, brother-in-law Terry Wenzel, and sister-in-law Suzanne Wenzel.
Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021 at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Pastor Joshua Becker will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, Saginaw, Michigan 48609; and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Monday.
