Clyde Wilson Plyler Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at the Cartwright Care Residence. Age 86 years. The son of the late Brodus and Ezzie (Vaughn) Plyler was born April 2, 1930 in Lancaster, South Carolina. He married June Arlene Burback, May 7, 1955. She passed away July 31, 2013. Clyde served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by Interstate Motor Freight, retiring in 1985 with 25 years of service. He enjoyed watching Clint Eastwood Movies and gardening. Surviving are a son, Daniel Plyler and his friend, Chenelle Sauer; a sister, Nancy Hunter; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Moore Plyler and Ruby Geese; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister, Gene, Mack and Andrew Plyler and Mildred Vincent. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2016, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
