Kissel, Colleen J. Freeland, MI Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother passed away Monday, June 9, 2014, at home with her family by her side. Colleen was born June 5, 1951, in Saginaw to the late Valentine and Doris (Lamping) Makowski. She enjoyed going to Florida and Indiana to see her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by the love of her life for 34 years, Thomas Kissel; her children, James McCarthy, Amy McCarthy, and Bradley (Jennifer) McCarthy; grandchildren, Macie, Jake, Trey, Bradley, and Arabella; sister, Connie (Gerald) Phillion; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Diane Ely. The family would like to thank her sister Connie and her nieces Lori Pack and Terri Dulude for the wonderful care they provided to Colleen. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
