Courtney E. Favazza, 31, of Lowell, MA passed away on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 in Merrimack, NH from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on April 23rd, 1988. She was currently employed with Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH. Courtney was one of those people that captured a room when she walked into it. Whether it was her loud personality, her beautiful smile, or her infectious laugh. If you had the chance to meet her, you instantly liked her. She had a warm heart and a way of engaging you and making you feel comfortable to talk with her about anything and everything. She had a wonderful soul and was proud to love and worship Jesus any chance she could. And boy did she love to worship and sing!! Anything involving music she was instantly drawn too. Her best attribute was her ability to love. The friendships that she created whether you knew her for 10 years or 10 days were remarkable. Her pride and joy however was her daughter Amaya Grace, who shares all these same characteristics and quirks that were so great about Courtney. She was the greatest mother to Amaya. From eyes opening to eyes shut, Amaya was her main thought and concern. And she made sure Amaya felt that love and joy everyday with her affection towards her. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, niece, wife, mother and friend that was taken too soon and will be truly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Courtney was predeceased by her grandfather Robert York of Saginaw, MI in 2015 and her father-in-law Jay Favazza of Gloucester, MA in 2010. She will be forever loved and remembered by her husband Jayson Favazza and their daughter Amaya Grace Favazza; her mother Kathy Jo York of Saginaw; siblings Matthew York and Jayme York, both of Saginaw; her grandmother Sally York of Saginaw; her in-laws, Lisa Murray and Eric Ortolani of Billerica, MA and Linda Favazza of Gloucester, MA; 2 brothers-in-law, Christian "CJ" Favazza and Donald Parsons, both of Gloucester, MA; sister-in-law Jessyka and her husband Matt Hansen of Groton, MA, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends. A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday August 10, 2019 at Ascension Lutheran Church 8695 Gratiot Rd. Saginaw, Michigan 48609. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Courtneys memory to go towards a college fund for Amaya that her husband Jay will be creating in the days to come.
