Dale Charles McDonald

McDonald, Dale Charles Reese, Michigan Passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at his home at the age of 76 years. The son of the late Ralph David and Charlotte (Skimin) McDonald was born on January 28, 1937 in Saginaw. He married Jean A. Fournier on October 4, 1958; she survives him. Dale retired from Grey Iron Foundry after 25 years of service. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and U.A.W. Local #668. Dale enjoyed country music, especially Ernest Tubb. Surviving besides his wife of 55 years, Jean are their children: Paul C. McDonald, Ann Marie (Joseph) Schank, Michael D. (Melodie) McDonald, grandchildren: Jason Trea, Robert Trea, Bryan Trea, Brittany Houske, Buck McDonald, Heather McNally, Nicole Schank, Jennifer Schank, 7 great-grandchildren, and his sister Elaine (Ronald) Seder. Dale was also predeceased by a grandson, Russell David McDonald and his siblings: Ralph David McDonald, Jean Masar, and Maxine (Dick) Ozerajtys. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington, Saginaw. Fr. William R. Taylor will officiate with burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Friday at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd., from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
