Dale Alen Sieggreen

Dale Alen Siegreen, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, tragically passed away suddenly on January 1 2025, in his hometown of Saginaw. Born on January 22, 1951, he brightened the lives of all who had the pleasure knowing him during his 73 years on this earth.

A proud graduate of Buena Vista High School, class 1969, Dale answered the call of duty and entered the U.S. Navy later that same year. He enjoyed a fulfilling military career, demonstrating the qualities of leadership and dedication that defined so much of his life.

Outside of his service, Dale's passions flourished. He had an unquenchable love for the outdoors, often embracing the tranquility that nature provided. Whether fishing, gardening, or engaging in the labor of falling trees with remarkable proficiency, Dale exemplified the spirit of a true lumberjack. His nurturing soul extended beyond the garden, as he dedicated himself to raising a variety of birds, from pigeons to chickens, and even Hawks during the vibrant decade of the 1980s.

Among his many interests, hobby trains and cars captivated his heart. Dale was also a spirited enthusiast of radio control cars, fully immersing himself in the thrill and joy they brought. After a long day, he found solace in classic rock music, often drawing from its anthems to enhance his fond memories and life experiences.

He left behind a close-knit family who adored him. Dale is survived by his cherished children, Brandon Sieggreen and Lindsay (Alan) Burden. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren, Kellan and Gavin Sieggreen, and Krystal and Marshall Burden. A supportive brother, Dale is mourned by his siblings: Debbie Wright, Lonnie Sieggreen, Becky Henning, and Gale Morris.

Beyond his family, Dale's warm personality and zest for life fostered countless relationships and friendships that enriched the lives of those around him. He was a man who lived life fully, embracing each moment with a passion that was contagious.

As we remember Dale, we carry forward the joyful memories of fishing by the lake, the laughter shared over trains and cars, and the soothing sounds of classic rock that became the soundtrack of his life. His spirit will always be intertwined with the love he generously gave and the memories he created with family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Dale; you will be profoundly missed.
