Damaris Belich

Beloved mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Shields Comfort Care at the age of 83 years. The daughter of the late Russell and Virginia (Klitz) Brott was born on February 28, 1935 in Saginaw. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 1953. She married Anthony P. Belich on March 26, 1966; he predeceased her on July 6, 2012. Damaris worked for Michigan Bell for 21 years then JCPenney where she retired after 18 years of service. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, trips to the casino and bowling. Damaris most especially cherished time spent with her family and grandsons. Surviving are her daughters: Pamela Guerrero, Cathy Belich, twin grandsons: Cameron and Cody Guerrero, her brother-in-law Alan Belich, sister-in-law Susan (David) Skiendziel, and her niece, nephews, relatives and friends. The family would like to give a heartfelt thanks to the aides at Shields Comfort Care, including her hospice nurses: JoJo and Kelly for all the loving care they gave Damaris. Memorial services will take place at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. where friends may visit with the family from 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimers Association of Michigan.
