Passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Covenant HealthCare - Harrison; at the age of 70 years.
The son of the late John and Elisabeth (Barthel) Spiker, Dan was born on May 20, 1950, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Hemlock High School with the class of 1968; Dan continued his education at Delta College. He proudly served in the United States National Guard until he was honorably discharged. Dan worked for the United States Postal Services for 32 years of dedicated and loyal service until he retired. He was an avid Tigers fan, NASCAR fan, and enjoyed playing softball.\
Surviving are three sisters and one brother: Mary Ellen (Mike) Sastre, Paul (Julie) Spiker, Tina (Ed) Eugenio, Connie (Mike) Maida; one son and two daughters: Tricia Spiker, Jeff Spiker, Cheryl Mullenax; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Honoring Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Cancer Society.
