Daniel "Danny" Teneyuque of Saginaw, Michigan Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at his home. He was 58 years old. Daniel Sanchez Teneyuque was born on September 10, 1960 in Saginaw to Juan R. and Gloria S. (Sanchez) Teneyuque. He was a proud 1977 graduate of St. Marys High School. Following graduation, Danny began working for General Motors as an assembly line worker; retiring in 2013 with over 30 years of service. He married Eva Maria Muniz on February 21, 1997; she survives him. He was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. Danny was also a member of the local UAW. Following his retirement, he attended Delta College, graduating with an Associates Degree in Heating and Cooling. He enjoyed music and was a talented Saxophonist. Danny was a fan of all University of Michigan teams, especially football. He also enjoyed barbequing, cooking, working on his car and family gatherings. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and his dog, Sadie Marie. He will forever be remembered for his intelligence and whit, love and selflessness, and his genuine ability to accept people as they are without judgment.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Eva Maria Teneyuque of Saginaw; four children, Robert Muniz of CA; Francisca Muniz of Saginaw; Sandra (Steven) Nava of Saginaw; and Cassy Teneyuque of Saginaw; six grandchildren, Danicia Armstrong; David Armstrong; Chaztity Muniz; Jaylen Muniz; Nevaeh Muniz; and Lylah Muniz; mother, Gloria S. Teneyuque of Saginaw; two brothers, Rick (Maria) Teneyuque of Saginaw; and Alberto Teneyuque of Saginaw; and his dog, Sadie Marie. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan R. Teneyuque, Sr; a brother, Juan R. Teneyuque, Jr.; and a grandson, Thomas Nava.
A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Rev. Fr. Francis Voris, OFM Cap will officiate. Honoring Dannys wishes cremation will follow the service. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
