Daria Kohut Lakewood Ohio Formerly of Saginaw, MI Passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 in Lakewood, Ohio. Age 92 years. Daria Chornous was born March 11, 1921 in Vorone, Ukraine, coming to the United States in 1949. She married Walter Kohut, November 4, 1945. He passed away August 31, 2003. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Bob Leidich; a son and daughter-in-law, Steffan and Cindy Kohut; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Robert Leidich Jr. and his wife, Shayne; Christopher Leidich; Scott Leidich and his wife, Sara; Alex and Jacob Kohut; Steven and Paul Kohut; two great grandchildren, Alden and Ava; her brother and sister, Victor Chornous and Donna Schwets; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was also predeceased by a son, John, and a sister, Motrya Chornous. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Richard Jozwiak will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service.
