Darline J. Romanelli

Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at the age of 87 years. The daughter of the late Gerald and Vernie (Willis) Carrigan was born on October 25, 1931 in Saginaw. She married George R. Romanelli, Sr. on December 31, 1949; he survives her. Darline enjoyed camping, being outdoors, traveling, trips to the casino, games of BINGO and reading. She was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. Surviving are her husband, George, and their children: Debra Churchill, George (Olga Fias) Romanelli, Jr., grandchildren: Katherine (Ted), Michelle (Cliff), Jen, Alexander, and great-grandchildren: Nicole, Mercedes, Cliff, Chloe, her great-great-grandson Landynn and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two sons: Richard and Michael Romanelli, two great-grandchildren: Ryan and Trinity. She was also predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the funeral service.
