Darrell C. Byers

Byers, Darrell C. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully at his home Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 54 years. He was born on January 28, 1959 in Saginaw to Lydia (Menchaca) Byers and the late Eric C. Byers. Darrell ran the family business; Byers Appliance. He was a faithful and long-time member of the Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal Church, and was active in their choir. Darrell was very athletic, enjoying sports and politics. Darrell was his mother's primary caregiver. He was an outstanding example of Godliness and integrity, and leaves behind an amazing Christian legacy. Darrell's memory will be lovingly cherished by his mother, Lydia Byers, three brothers and three sisters; Eric (Fee) Byers II, Kim (David) Kreilach, Mark A. Byers, Lisa (Chris) Cortese, Elliott W. Byers, Michelle (Ed) Fowler; many nieces and nephews and their families amongst other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Eric in 2008. Funeral service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Saginaw Valley United Pentecostal Church, 6740 Dixie Hwy. Rev. Kevin Leaman will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at church on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service.
