David B. Douglass

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2020. Age 76 years.

David was born on April 20, 1944, son of the late David and Gertrude (Begel) Douglass, in Saginaw. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1962. David married Connie Curran in 1972, She survives him. He retired from Chessie System after 32 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, golfing and spending time with his family.

David will be missed by his loving wife Connie; sons, David (Shari), Matthew (Cindy) and Christopher (Hannah) Douglass; granddaughters, Jordan and Megan Douglass; sister, Patricia Elliott; aunt, Patricia Ziel; in-laws, John Marshall, James (Ann) Curran and Dennis (Susan) Curran; step grandchildren, Joseph Balbaugh, Alyssa (Matt)Anderson; step great grandson, Nathanael Anderson; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Nancy Marshall.

Honoring David’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will take place at a later date.
