David E. Barber San Francisco, California Passed away June 15, 2018 in California. He was born September 16, 1952 to the Jean P. Barber and the late Ernest J. Barber. David was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School. He served with the U. S. Coast Guard. He then attended Houghton College of Electrical Engineering and then University Virginia Masters Engineering. He was currently employed as a professional engineer and was working on the San Francisco Airport. Surviving besides his mother is his wife, Louise Barber. Also surviving are three daughters and one son, Jennifer Barber Pierni, San Francisco; Dylan Barber, Japan; Melissa Brachman, Germany; and Christina Crosby, Canada; two grandchildren; his brother Cliff Barber. He was predeceased by his father and one brother, Bill Barber. A celebration of his life took place Tuesday, June 25, 2018 in San Francisco.
