David E. Callahan

Callahan, David E. Hemlock, MI Passed away peacefully at the home of his daughter on June 3, 2014, after a battle with cancer at the age of 71. David was born August 28, 1942 to the late Frank and Ann (Motel) Callahan. He attended Holy Family Catholic Schools and graduated from Saginaw High School. He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear. He enjoyed painting homes after retirement and traveling out west. David had a special love for Michigan's Upper Peninsula. He is survived by his daughter's, Natalie (Dr. Todd) Massa and Jane Tekiele; 5 grandchildren, Lauren (Matt) Husen, Megan (Joe) Frost, Aaron Massa, Taylor Tekiele, Drew Tekiele; 4 great-grandchildren; his siblings, John (Ruth) Callahan, Robert (Laura) Callahan, Patrick Callahan, Jeannie (Tom) Masica, Janet (Rick) Helmer; sisters-in-law, Veronica Callahan, Pat Callahan, and Joyce Callahan. He was predeceased by his parents and brothers, Frank Callahan, Michael Callahan, and Ronald Callahan. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan for their wonderful support.
