David James Janze

Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the age of 69 years. The son of the late Albert and Lois (Stevenson) Janze was born on December 2, 1947 in Bremerton, WA. David had 8 siblings: Fern Taylor, Ann Janz, Arlone (Clarence) Knezevich, James Janz, Doris (Harold) Sarver, Gloria (Marvin) Bartholomew, Wesley (Connie) Eby, and Nyrene Futch. He graduated from Rainier Beach High School, Seattle, WA. David loved sharing stories of growing up in Seattle. David earned a degree from chef school and with his gift of gab had a 30 year career in sales. He loved football, cooking, arguing politics and was a diehard democrat, but most especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Surviving are his children: Jeremiah (Meaghann) Janze, Nathan Janze, Natalie (Rudy) Steinert, three grandchildren: Caroline Janze and Isaiah and Isabelle Steinert, his former wife and friend: Jane Janze, his siblings: Doris Sarver, Gloria Bartholomew, Wesley Eby, Nyrene Futch, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, Merrill. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
