David M. Smith

Smith, David M. Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013, at Heartland Healthcare, at the age of 55 years. He was born January 23, 1958, the son of the late Thomas and Irene (Cantu) Smith. He retired from Delphi (Saginaw Steering Gear) and was a member of UAW Local 699. He married Debra Harris on March 28, 2013; she survives him. He also leaves three sons, Jason, Eric and Kurt Smith; three grandchildren, Jordan, Elizabeth, and Jason Smith Jr; two brothers, Thomas (Kathy) Smith and Patrick Smith; one step-son, Corey Clark; two nieces and two nephews, Melissa, Jeremy, Mychal, and Monica Smith; his mother-in-law, Carole Harris. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Smith, and his father-in-law, Francis Harris. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where his family will receive friends from 2:00 8:00 p.m. on Monday and then on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
