David Melick

Dave, passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper, as a result of a sudden cardiac arrest, at the age of 64. He was the son of the late David and Margaret (Gulick) Melick, and was born on January 1, 1956, in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Merrill High School, class of 1974. He remained in Merrill his entire life, and worked for many years as a mechanic, mechanic assembler, and held other industrial mechanical jobs. Surviving are two brothers, Dale and Dennis Melick, Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents, David is preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Melick. Honoring David's wishes, cremation has taken place. Dave lived life on his terms, never having any regrets. He was a true friend when needed, and a great brother. He would want to be remembered for all the good times he had and wouldn't want anyone to remember him any other way.
