David “Dave” Moreno of Flint
Age 54
Passed away on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, in Flint, Michigan. Born in Saginaw on June 26th, 1967, to Raymond Moreno and the late Martha Lopez. After graduating high school, Dave spent his working years doing various jobs throughout the region. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to be around water, especially fishing. Dave loved music of all kinds, cooking, and spending time with family and friends at different parties and get togethers. He is remembered as being kindhearted, loving and jovial, as he always had a joke to tell. Dave could talk with anyone to make them feel like a welcomed friend and many considered him to be a brother.
Dave is survived by his son Vicente (Madison) Moreno; siblings Yvette (Eduardo) Serrato, Ray Moreno, Zachary Moreno, & Julia Moreno; grandfather Francisco Renteria; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Dave was preceded in death by grandparents Julia Renteria, Dora Gonzales, Julio Pena & Ramon Moreno; as well as Aunt Wanda Moreno, Aunt Juanita Renteria, & Uncle Antonio Moreno.
A funeral liturgy will take place on Saturday, April 16th at 10:30am at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw, Rev. Father Kevin Wojciechowski presiding, with visitation on Friday the 15th from 2:00pm-8:00pm, and from 9:30am until the time of the service on Saturday. Those wishing to make a gesture of sympathy may wish to consider contributing to the Family Discretionary Fund C/O Raymond Moreno, which is intended to be used for the future expenses of Dave’s grandchild.
