David "Skip" Lee Kruske

Kruske, David Lee "Skip" Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully at home on March 3, 2015, at the age of 79 years. Skip was born September 20, 1935 in Saginaw to the late Paul S. and Harriett E. (Gunther) Kruske. He served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Basilone DDE-824 during the Korean War. He married Betty A. Bester on April 13, 1957. They were married for over 54 years until she passed away September 21, 2011. He was a member of VFW Post 7302 Hemlock/Merrill, Polish Falcons Nest 124 in Saginaw, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 497, and the Pulaski Club of Saginaw. He is survived by his children, Scott (Debra) Kruske, Annette (Frank) Bamberger, and Joc (Candy) Kruske; grandchildren, Allison (Jason Brann) Tobin, Zachary (Sofia) Kruske, Douglas (Danielle) Kruske, Montana Lynn and Aubrey Jae Kruske; great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Lynn, William David, Cooper John, and Paige Evelynn; sister-in-law, Patricia (Richard) Bayne; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Maria McKeage for her tireless support and comfort to the family. The family would also like to thank Dr. Jane Castillo, VNA Hospice, and the staff of Covenant 6 Main and 2 Main for the care they provided to David. Funeral services will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial at Garfield Cemetery in Swan Creek Township under the auspices of VFW Post 7302 Hemlock/Merrill.
