David Stuart Redman

David "Dave" Stuart Redman of Oscoda, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, December 20, 2021. He was 78 years old. David Redman was born on June 10, 1943, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Thomas and Eunice (Neimeyer) Redman. He was a graduate of Clare High School. He married the love of his life, Judith "Judy" Rae Glave on August 23, 1969; she preceded him in death on June 12, 2019. Dave worked for General Motors - Saginaw Steering Gear as a job setter, retiring in 1996 after 30 years of service. While living in Saginaw, Dave and Judy were faithful members of Zion Lutheran Chuch on Hancock Street. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles #4141, Moose Lodge 82, the American Legion Post #254, and he was a master mason with the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge292 - Alcona/Lincoln.
Dave was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, big water fishing, and hunting. He loved to vacation in Acapulco, Mexico. Dave also enjoyed golfing and tinkering to create, build, and invent useful products for his home over the years. Though nothing he made was patented, Dave took great pride using his mind and intellect. Above all, he treasured and cherished his family. He will forever be remembered for his excellent sense of humor and wisdom, his big, loving, and loyal presence, and for his innate ability to connect with all people.

Surviving are three daughters and one son: Kelly (Jack) Stilwell of Marquette; David (Barb) Redman of Indianapolis; Wendy (Joe) Reed of Midland; Stacy (Redman) Bauer and her fiancé, Jason Potter of Birch Run; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren with one on the way; good friends: Wayne Kuzbiel, and Carol Shoultes. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Redman.
