Dawn Marie Brookins

Dawn Marie Brookins Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2103, at the Cartwright Care Residence at the age of 58 years. The daughter of Jerrie Healy and the late Kenneth Evans was born April 9, 1955 in Clio, Michigan. She was a bartender for over 30 years, most recently working for Bruce's Bar in Carrollton. She was a member and trustee of the Carrollton-Zilwaukee Eagles Club #4413. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, Kaya, and playing shuffleboard with friends. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas Brookins and Kelly Wheeler, San Diego, CA; her granddaughter, Kaya Lily Danger Brookins; her fianc Eugene J. Wendling; her sister and brother, Alisha Evans and Kenneth Evans; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and her dear friends, Louann Montney and Kimberly Bullock. She was predeceased by two sisters, Valerie Gunnells and Amy Comstock. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
