Deanna Marie Virciglio Saginaw, Michigan
A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away on August 30, 2024, in Saginaw, at the age of 83. Deanna was born on October 28, 1940, to the late Michael and Marie Dudash (Wendling). She was a proud graduate of St. Peter and Paul High School, class of 1958.
For nine years, Deanna contributed her talents and efforts as an employee with Michigan Bell. Her work ethic and dedication were evident not only in her career but also in her service to the community. Deanna was a passionate volunteer for Saginaw schools and the City of Saginaw, where she made significant contributions, particularly in the neighborhood associations. Described by those who knew her as loving, kind, and caring, Deanna had a true passion for life. She found joy in flower gardening, often spending many happy hours digging in the dirt to nurture her blooms. Her love of music was also apparent; Deanna sang in various church choirs and dedicated eleven years to the Saginaw Choral Society, bringing joy to her community through her beautiful voice. In her retirement, Deanna enjoyed scenic rides in the Mustang Convertible with Paul, where they created many memories together. She also relished taking trips and sharing delicious hamburgers on their Harley, embracing every moment spent with her family.
Family was the cornerstone of Deanna's life. She is survived by her devoted husband, Paul, and their daughter, Theresa Ann Rose. Deanna was a proud grandmother to Simon DeSalvo, and she shared a close bond with her sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Kenneth Hagle Jr., as well as her brother-in-law Tom (Chantal) Virciglio and sister-in-law Bella Wissing. She leaves behind special nephews Kenneth III and Dr. Scott Hagle, along with many loved and cherished relatives and friends.
